Chorus

The OCES Chorus is a performance group that is open to all grade levels. This group meets during first semester of each year and represents our school by performing here at OCES and throughout the community. This past year, students performed at the OCES Thanksgiving feast, Athens Regional Medical Center, Dessert Theater and Cultural Arts Night. Students work on developing vocal and performance skills through fun and engaging music. We love to sing and we love to have fun! If you are interested in joining the OCES chorus, be sure to register at the beginning of the school year. Registration forms are sent home in Friday Folders.

Honors Chorus

Honors Chorus is an audition only group that is open to 4th and 5th grade students. Honors Chorus meets during the 2nd semester of each year. Students selected participate in a clinic and concert led by a special choral technician. Students rehearse the music for the performance with their music teacher and then perform a concert with 125 students selected from all the elementary schools in Oconee County. Auditions are held in December each year.
